Dog Boot Buying Guide -2015

healing-dog-bootThere are several considerations when choosing the right set of boots for your dog.  Number 1, they need to stay on their paws.  We have done careful testing and analysis with our dog panel and we only stock boots that stay on your dog’s paws. Healer dog boots are sold in pairs so you can get different sizes for your dog’s front and hind paws. WHAT A GREAT IDEA!

The next step is to determine how you will be using the boots. Are they inside or outside boots? Are they for specific uses or for hot or cold protection ?

The following chart is based on our boot selection for 2015 -2016. We have color-coded it so you can see at a glance which boot is best for you.

      Hi Joe-
To measure your dog for dog boots, please use this guide. Each manufacturer, recommends adding a different amount to the measurement based on the materials of the boot.
Some boots have extra padding inside so you might need to add 1/4 of an inch to the size.

Measure your dog’s front paw to ensure a comfortable fitting boot. Place the paw on a piece of paper and press down on the top, mimicking how the paw spreads when the dog’s walking. Mark the left and the right side on the paper and measure the distance between the marks. Compare this to the boot sizes.
